I’ve been really busy lately, both at work and at home. I’ve had family in town on and off for the past month, I’ve been working like 60hours a week lately, and my girlfriend and I have been busy and/or away almost every weekend.
I’d love to get into some of my other stories from the past at this point, but for right now, I do just have a little update: I’ve bought some new clothes! Leave it to the Old Navy/Gap/Banana Republic group to always have a good sale on some great clothes, be them the basics or something with a little more flair.
So, the other day at work, a package from Old Navy arrived with the following:

I’m super excited about this stuff and when I brought it home the other day, I was hoping I would get there before my girlfriend to try it all on. She was there first, but when she took a shower, I ran into our bedroom and quickly undressed to make sure everything fit OK and looked good. And it does… =P
I’m also thinking about getting a new pair of shoes now! Of course, Payless has got the cheapest stuff, so I;m looking at a slingback high heel now. I’ve got the pair of pumps from a few months ago, which I absolutely love, but I’ve always been attracted to a high-heeled slingback. So, here’s is what I’m looking at:
It’s the Hayden Platform Slingback… Sadly, I’m saving for a big vacation in about a month, so I don’t know if I’ll be able to get them soon, but I hope I can find the extra $20 somewhere!
