She knows! I’ll go into greater detail soon but yesterday, I was able to calm down my fiancee and put her at ease. She was freaking out quite a bit, which, you know, is understandable.
But anyway… now that that part is over, up next is a more in depth conversation about the whole affair. At least the ice is broken.
Things have been rather stagnant when it comes to crossdressing lately… just haven’t had the time nor the privacy at home. I guess with summer being here, the days are longer, and we’re out more in general. Also, I’ve been busy at work (what else is new) and my girlfriend hasn’t been very busy at work either. Damn recession.
But anyway, a quick update… My girlfriend and I are now engaged! We’ve been together for nearly 5 1/2 years and she’s been bugging me about getting married for probably 4 of those years. However, I finally found myself ready to take our relationship to the next level late last year, spent about 7 months looking for an engagement ring, and found the one about 2 months ago. I proposed when we were on vacation last month and she, of course, said yes!
With respect to crossdressing, I do sort of see a light at the end of the tunnel, but it is temporary of course: my girlfriend is going back to school for a year starting this August. Just last week, she got her class registration materials and it looks like most, if not all, of her classes will be weeknights. Preliminarily, it looks like she won’t be home until after 10:00 PM a few nights per week. This is good for me because I’ll be able to spend at least a little bit of alone time at home where I can dress. It’ll be nice to get back to it on a regular basis.
As for the whole getting married thing, I still have to confront, at some point, the fact that she doesn’t know about my hobby (sort of, but more about that some other time…). I’ve thought a lot about how to tell her about this, but can’t seem to find the right way to go about it. Does anyone have any ideas out there?
